Trina started in the industry as a receptionist with Lifeplan Financial in 2001 where she learned the basics of the industry and then progressed into administration support role as a liaison between advisors and insurance companies. Trina continued to grow in the industry and originally joined Cooper Financial in 2004 where she obtained her full license under Carol Coopers support, guidance and training. Trina worked with Carol for 5 years but left the company to raise her sons and focus on her insurance career as an independent advisor where she has successfully grown her own Insurance business. Trina was born and raised in Victoria but currently lives in Shawnigan Lake with her husband and two sons.
Since returning to Cooper Financial, Trina will continue to service her own clients but will be sharing her years of industry experience and exceptional service with Cooper Financials client base as well as a Fully Licensed Contract Advisor. She is excited to be back with the team and working with the amazing clients that she is thrilled to be reconnecting with after all this time.
In addition to her work, Trina loves hosting and spending time with friends and family. She also loves her arts and crafts and is currently working on her needle felting. Trina was the Chair of the Shawnigan Lake Business Association for 4 years and developed many long lasting relationships locally. She continues to support her community everyday while running the Cowichan Valley Women in Business Facebook page where she promotes, encourages, and supports all local businesses, and most importantly female entrepreneurs like herself.
