Carol is a native of Victoria and a Victoria High Graduate. Her life has been filled with many challenges and satisfying accomplishments and she has been blessed with a wonderful family and many great friends.
Carol first learned the importance of client service during her 16 years with Canada Safeway. She was recruited to the insurance industry and through ambition and hard work, obtained her CFP, CHS and CLU designations. In 2012, Carol completed her Certified Professional Consultant on Aging (CPCA) designation with a focus on offering specialized assistance to our maturing clients.
Carol is the owner of two successful, independent financial companies, Cooper Financial Services Group Inc. established in 1986 and serving the needs of individuals, families and business owners, and Integrated Benefit Solutions Inc. established in 2004, which focuses on providing employer/employee benefit solutions. While Carol has a thorough knowledge of business, tax and estate planning along with financial and insurance solutions, she attributes her success to her genuine interest in her clients. She cares for people, listens and works hard to truly understand their needs – creating solutions to solve those needs is the easy part.
Carol is passionate about transparency and professionalism in the financial sector and advocates for these as an active advisor member and board member of the Vancouver Island Chapter of Advocis. In her spare time, Carol can be found on the tennis court, working out or in the garden. She is also an avid traveller.
